Bradley
Fox . Bradley Fox is a
story teller in richly textured
painting. The story unfolds in
the form of a still life, using
toys, books, and general stuff,
Bradley creates a tale through
the interaction of the objects
that clutter our lives and
nightstands, often to humorous
results.

Jen
Burton . Jen Burton
plunks her figures down in sparse
and unlikely landscapes, forcing
us to focus our gaze on their
personalities. We feel akin to
these hapless figures in their
isolation, but the result is not
sympathy or sadness. Jen makes us
laugh at their predicament and in
turn teaches us to laugh at
ourselves. A good hearty belly
laugh kind of feel.

Margaret
Blanchard. Margaret
Blanchard has taken stained glass
out of the windows and shown us a
world of shimmering joy. Pushing
the medium from 2D to 3D,
Margaret shows us the multitude
of ways light plays with forms.
Her sculptures developed to
encompass our world, small
villages, people forms, modes of
travel. Encompassing found glass
the shapes took on a whimsy
that animates the figures and
creates a miniature world of
moving light.

S.B.
Sowbel. S.B.Sowbel's
lushly worked prints are
exploring the boustrophedon as a
base for the narrative that
unfolds. The boustrophedon is
an early form of writing,
first in one direction then
repeating itself in the
opposite, that creates the
lively action of the whole piece
as the image builds. The
results of this action
process are lively, colorful
explosions of abstracted
fun.
